Spaghetti Dinner

The Union Fire Company is hosting its bi-annual Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday March 20th, 2010. Dinner will be served from 3 - 7 pm at the Crosswicks Fire House. Adults are $8, children age 6-12 are $5, and children under age 5 are Free. Take out is also available for $9. We hope to see you there!

Santa Claus is coming to town!

Santa will arrive at the Crosswicks Community Center on Dec 13th at 6pm for the annual tree lighting ceremony. He will be available for photos and Christmas wishes afterwards.

On Dec 24th, Santa will return to Crosswicks as he is chauffeured around the area by the members of the Union Fire Company. His schedule is not yet know, so check back often for an update.

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Chesterfield & Hamilton Township's Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, until 4:00 P.M. prevailing time on November 17, 2009 , at the law firm of Timothy J. Little, P. C., 517 Amboy Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ 07095 for the followinp:

Pumper Fire Truck

One (1) Emergency One, 1983 Ford, Diesel Engine, Allison Automatic Transmission, 1,000 Gallon Tank, 1,250 Gallon per Minute 2 stage pump, 3KW Generator, Air Brakes, 19,000 Miles.

Bid forms may be obtained from the law office of Timothy J. Little, PC., 732-634-5512, attorney for the Chesterfield & Hamilton Townships Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, or may be picked up in person at the office Timothy J. Little, P.C., 517 Amboy Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ 07095 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Bid documents will be mailed to prospective bidders if requested.

All bids must be in the prescribed form to TImothy J. Little, Esq., 517 Amboy Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ 07095 enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder on the outside marked Bid Proposal.

NO OTHER FORM OF BID WILL BE ACCEPTED!!

The Board of Fire Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive and formalilites in the bid proposals that may be deemed necessary for the best interest of the Fire District.

Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of PL 1975, Chapeter 127 and PL 1977, Chapter 33.
